[Managment] Team Philosophy

So, I’m reading this book on Generation Y as appart of my personal education. Its been surprising how well the goals of some of our projects such as Gears fits into the desires of this generation. Not surprising however, as all of us are members of this generation, myself included.O.K here are some core desires that we will need to ensure are accommodated in each of our teams infrastructure. I will detail these further in an upcoming article.

  • Purpose and Meaning.
  • Responsibility.
  • Promotional opportunity.
  • New challenges & experiences.
  • Far compensation.
  • Increased employability.
  • Individuality & creativity
  • Ethical.
  • Flexibility.
  • Fun.
  • Belong & be engaged.
  • Modern & edgy.
  • Passion & optimism.
Just by looking at this list I’m sure we can all see some advantages and challenges when it comes to the development of the CWU. All being well we will address these desires and be able to create tools that will support them.
